Hi Everyone
Here is issue two of Island View Connect! (Insert girly squeal from me here).
Firstly I would like to send a massive thank you for all of the positive feedback and well wishes I received on the successful launch of Issue one. Thank you everyone.
My vision for this e-magazine is for it to be a voice for all, not just my voice.
A voice to celebrate our amazing people, pets, businesses, local sporting and community groups. Everything and everyone that makes the Fraser Coast such a special place to live and work.
There is space here in this magazine for all of us and so much we can achieve together as a community.
If you are on a school p&c committee or a local sporting club that needs to let people know about an event you are holding, this can be a platform. Has your sports team reached a huge milestone and you want everyone to know the hard work has paid off? Tell us your story. Island View Connect is here to cheer your team on. Are you part of a car club, crafting group or fishing club? Do you want to spread the word about what you do and maybe boost those membership numbers? Then this is the resource you need. Get typing, take some photos and email them through for the next issue of Island View Connect!
There is no cost to include your events and stories about local community groups, simply email the information through to me.
Now this is where the magic happens. While Island View Connect is spreading the word about your group, you can do your bit to grow our community by letting everyone know about us. Every time you share a post or let a friend know about Island View Connect you are growing our community and supporting local groups and small businesses.
With each edition Island View Connect is growing. My wish is that is becomes a source of inspiration and connection for you all; something you look forward to reading each month with a cuppa in hand and discovering more about what’s in
our own beautiful back yard together.
